I got an email today from Amazon Prime that they are rising their subscription charges from £79 to £95 after 15th September 2022.
Sure! Take my money! Sorry wokeness. Convenience wins.

“In your actions, don’t procrastinate. In your conversations, don’t confuse. In your thoughts, don’t wander. In your soul, don’t be passive or aggressive. In your life, don’t be all about business.” —MARCUS AURELIUS, MEDITATIONS, 8.51
I’m starting Obsidian from the ground up. I shall be following the principles of Building a Second Brain by Tiago Forte
Macro shot using Halide app.
Boris is out! Tories have David Cameron to blame! Whoever is going to become the next PM, it’s going to be hard for the British public to trust.
Yesterday I got my car fixed up. It cost me £422 in total. Certainly, the most expensive MOT ever! I think it is a sign to get a new car.
When the lockdown started, I was supposed to get a comfortable chair to work from home. Finally, got it delivered today.

I came to know and have been following (on and off) the Manosphere since 2012. I always felt something was off with the “Red Pill” evangelists. YouTube recommended this video and I thoroughly enjoyed it and laughed out loud.
I have initiated my Qurbani ritual for Eid Al-Adha 2022. May Allah SWT accept our sacrifices and good deeds. Ameen!
My car failed the MOT and needs some repair work to pass it. I’m glad I have budgeted for this expense in my “Car Maintenance” sinking fund.
We finished watching The Handmaid’s Tale - Season 1.
What a grim series!
We may have lived a version of this kind of lives in the past. But, with the way things of going in this world, one just can’t help to imagine if this becomes a reality now.
I don’t know! I want to like Obsidian but there’s something pushing me away from it. I keep going back to Standard Notes. Maybe, Standard Notes is my note-taking & note-making app of choice.
Let’s try Rwandan coffee.
Snippet from the Daily Stoic.
Hold yourself to a higher standard but not an impossible one. And forgive yourself if and when you slip up.
An excellent reminder to live the good life.
I have got a 50% discount offer for Skillshare. I’m not sure if I really want it. Any Skillshare users, please advise!
I have taken a break from posting and microblogging for some time now. No reason! Just thought, I needed a break. I’m happy to be back online.
Today, my mind was scattered. I was a bit anxious, thinking about the future and the responsibility it holds for me. It has been 14 months since my father’s passing. I’m slowly learning to accept the Divine Decree of Allah SWT.
In a few days, we will be observing Eid al-Adha. My father used to give to a lot of charitable causes during the month of Hajj. I hope I can continue his charitable work and carry his legacy forward. Ameen.
Getting ready to watch the Parade.
